Dharmesh Kumar Patel, M.D., F.A.A.F.P., is a Board-Certified Family Medicine physician and the founder of Georgia Family Care, serving Dekalb and Gwinnett County for nearly 30+ years. Specializing in chronic disease management like Diabetes, Hypertension, and Cardiovascular diseases, he emphasizes holistic, patient-centered care. Dr. Patel has earned multiple awards, including America’s Most Honored Professionals and Patients’ Choice Awards. Fluent in English, Spanish, Gujarati, Hindi, and Punjabi.
GANESH KINI, M.D.
Ganesh Kini, M.D., is a Board-Certified Internal Medicine physician with over 40+ years of experience serving the Lithonia, Rockdale, and Newton communities. Specializing in adult and senior care, he treats conditions like hypertension, diabetes, arthritis, and heart and lung disease. He worked at the Veterans Administration Hospital before establishing his private practice in Rockdale County in 1987. Now a valued member of Georgia Family Care, Dr. Kini is known for his compassionate patient care.
BEATRIXE EUGENE, D.O.
Dr. Beatrixe Eugene, D.O., a Board-Certified Internal Medicine physician with over 25 years of experience, was born in Haiti and raised in Miami. She studied at the University of Florida and Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Eugene completed her residency at Miami Heart/Mt. Sinai Medical Center. She has worked at Jackson Memorial Hospital, urgent care centers, community health clinics, and more. Fluent in Creole and medical Spanish, she welcomes all patients to Georgia Family Care.

Valina Harry brings over 10 years of experience in primary care, with a strong background in outpatient, ICU, and hospice settings. She is known for providing compassionate, patient-focused care tailored to adult health needs.
She holds a Master’s degree in Adult Health Nursing from Fairleigh Dickinson University and is board-certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner.
Valina is especially passionate about women’s wellness and believes in guiding patients to make confident, informed health decisions.
Jeysirine Telesford, NP
Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner
Jeysirine Telesford is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of nursing experience dedicated to compassionate, patient-centered care. She began her nursing career in Brooklyn, New York, earning her AAS Degree in Nursing from New York City College of Technology before advancing her education with a Master’s Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Walden University in 2015.
Her extensive clinical background includes medical-surgical nursing, wound care, cardiology, oncology, vascular medicine, case management, telephonic nursing, hospice and palliative care, community health, and family medicine. She has also provided long-term care management for elderly residents across Georgia.
Jeysirine is passionate about patient education, healthcare equity, and holistic wellness. Known for her compassionate approach and commitment to quality care, she strives to support every patient with personalized attention and evidence-based treatment. She is proud to serve the local community as a valued member of Georgia Family Care.
Jenny Than, PA-C.
Mrs. Jenny Than has over 15 years of experience in the primary care field. She has been working with Dr. Patel at Georgia Family Care since 2010.
Mrs. Than is a graduate of Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences with a Master degree of Physician Assistant in 2008, and was Certified in 2008.
Her energetic and calming spirit makes her great with children, and she is also very experienced with well women exams.
DR. KATHRYN BENSON
MD
Dr. Kathryn Benson is an experienced pediatrician with more than 20 years of experience caring for children from newborns and toddlers to school-age children and adolescents. She has a lifelong passion for pediatrics and values building strong, lasting relationships with children and their families throughout every stage of development.
Dr. Benson grew up in Michigan and Ohio before moving to Atlanta in 1980. She completed her college education, medical school, and pediatric residency at Emory University. Her commitment to helping others extends beyond clinical care through community service, medical mission work, and teaching. She also serves as a preceptor for Emory medical students, nurse practitioner students, and pediatric residents.
Dr. Benson is passionate about child advocacy, community service, and medical education. Outside of work, she enjoys cycling, hiking, kayaking, traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends. At Georgia Family Care, she provides compassionate, thoughtful, and family-centered pediatric care.
KATHERINE MORRIS
Katherine “Katy” Morris is an experienced pediatric nurse practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care for children and families in Duluth and Greater Atlanta. As an Atlanta native, she has a strong connection to the local community and a lifelong passion for children and pediatric medicine.
Katy earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgia Southern University in 2007 and spent more than six years at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston, where she worked on a general pediatric floor with a focus on neurology and neurosurgery. She later earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Georgia State University in 2013 and continued her career as a pediatric nurse practitioner.
Katy is an active member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau. She also enjoys teaching and serves as a clinical preceptor for local universities. At Georgia Family Care, she combines her extensive pediatric experience with a caring approach to support the health and well-being of every child.
